EverWellAI Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 27th October 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how EverWellAI Ltd (“EverWellAI”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website (https://www.everwellai.co.uk) and in our online service platform. It is intended to be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy above, which provides further details on our handling of personal data. By using our website or services, you can manage your cookie preferences as described below.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions. Cookies can serve many functions: enabling core site functionality, improving user experience, analyzing site traffic, or supporting marketing.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, EverWellAI) are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than EverWellAI are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies typically appear when we embed content or use services provided by external providers on our site (such as analytics or videos), and those providers set their own cookies.
In addition to cookies, we might use technologies like web beacons (tiny images embedded in pages or emails) or local storage (which stores data in your browser, similar to cookies). For simplicity, this policy refers to all of these as “cookies.”
Cookies can be session cookies (temporary cookies that last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it) or persistent cookies (cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Persistent cookies help us remember your preferences between visits, among other uses.
2. How We Use Cookies
EverWellAI uses cookies for several reasons:
Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary): These cookies are necessary for our website and platform to function properly. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to use core features of our site. For example, when you log into the EverWellAI platform, we may set an authentication cookie to keep you logged in as you navigate between pages. This cookie (often a session cookie or secure token) remembers that you have authenticated and has the correct permissions. Essential cookies might also be used for things like load balancing (distributing traffic across servers) or remembering cookie consent choices. These cookies do not gather information for marketing or tracking; they are only used for providing our services. Examples: a session ID cookie, security tokens, or cookies to remember form inputs as you fill them out. On specific forms we use Google reCAPTCHA strictly for security. On those pages only, reCAPTCHA (including the AEC cookie) loads as strictly necessary; it is not used for advertising on our site.
Functional Cookies (Preferences): These cookies allow our site to remember choices you have made in the past in order to provide a more personalized experience. For instance, if our platform has user settings such as preferred language or UI layout, we might store that in a cookie so that your preferences persist. Another example is if you dismiss a one-time notification or pop-up, we may set a cookie to remember that so it doesn’t show again. Functional cookies are not strictly necessary but enhance your experience. We currently use minimal functional cookies, mostly because our interface is straightforward, but as features grow, this category might include things like remembering that you’ve seen a tutorial or whether you prefer a dark mode theme.
Analytics Cookies (Performance): We use these cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website, in order to improve it. These cookies gather data such as which pages are visited, how long users stay, how they navigate through the site, and if they encounter errors. The information collected is typically aggregated and anonymized, meaning it does not directly identify you. It helps us understand overall user behavior and website performance. For example, we may use Google Analytics or a similar tool that sets cookies to measure web traffic (like _ga cookie from Google). Analytics cookies help us answer questions like: Which blog posts are most popular? Do visitors drop off on a certain page? We use this info to enhance content and site structure. Important: We will not deploy analytics cookies without your consent (as they are not strictly necessary). When you first visit our site, you will have the opportunity to accept or decline such cookies via the cookie banner or settings. If you opt out, we will not set analytics cookies.
Advertising & marketing cookies: We do not serve third-party display ads on everwellai.co.uk and we do not use Meta (Facebook) Pixel or Google Ads remarketing tags. However, when you enable Marketing cookies or interact with Google services embedded on our site (e.g., Maps, YouTube), Google may set third-party cookies on the .google.com domain—such as NID, SID, HSID, APISID, SAPISID, SSID, SIDCC, and the __Secure-1P* / __Secure-3P* family—which Google can use for ad personalisation/measurement on its own services. These cookies are blocked by default and load only if you consent in Cookie settings. If you choose Reject non-essential, Google embeds will not load and these cookies will not be set. You can change or withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell personal data. We use Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat). These are Analytics (consent) cookies and are only set after you opt in. See the table for details.
Third-Party Service Cookies: Our website might integrate content or services from third parties that set their own cookies. For example:
If we embedded a Vimeo or YouTube video in a blog post, those platforms might set cookies to track video views or remember your player settings.
If we have a live chat widget for support (provided by a third-party provider), that widget might use cookies to maintain a chat session.
If we show a Google Map, Google may set cookies to remember preferences or track usage of their maps.
These cookies are controlled by the third parties, not by us directly. We list known third-party services on our site and provide links to their cookie policies where possible. Right now, our site is relatively simple and informational, so third-party cookies are minimal. We have no third-party analytics aside from potentially Google Analytics, and no other embedded content requiring cookies at the moment.
We do use Google Workspace for forms (for instance, if a contact form or sign-up form is embedded from Google Forms, Google might set cookies for authentication or usage). If that’s done, we’ll mention it. Additionally, our platform (app.everwellai.co.uk or similar) uses Supabase for authentication; Supabase may set its own cookies or use local storage to manage your login session. These are technical and only used to keep you logged in securely, falling under essential category.
In summary, our use of cookies is fairly restrained and primarily focused on essential functionality and optional analytics to help us improve. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal data or to pass data to advertisers.
3. Cookies in Use – Categories and Examples
We want to be as transparent as possible about the specific cookies in use on our website. Below we outline the categories and (where feasible) specific cookies that may be set, along with their purpose and lifespan. (Note: Cookie names and details can change, and certain cookies might only be set in specific conditions, so this list is illustrative of typical usage.)

We continually review our use of cookies and will update this list if we add or remove cookies. Our aim is to keep the cookies on our site as few and as privacy friendly as possible, while still ensuring functionality and getting necessary insights to run our business.
4. Your Choices and Managing Cookies
Cookie Consent Banner: On your first visit to our site (and periodically thereafter, especially if preferences expire or we add new cookies), you will see a cookie banner or popup. This banner allows you to accept all cookies or decline/adjust your cookie settings (aside from strictly necessary cookies which cannot be declined as they are essential for the site to work). We encourage you to make a choice that reflects your comfort level. If you click accept, we will set cookies in all the categories we use. If you decline analytics, for example, we will not set those cookies and you might see a more generic experience.
Managing Preferences: If at any time you want to change your cookie preferences, you can do so. This might be via a “Cookie Settings” link on our website (often found in the footer or via the banner that can be re-triggered). By clicking that, you can toggle categories on or off (except necessary ones). We will then adjust our cookies accordingly. For instance, if you previously allowed analytics but change your mind and opt out, we will stop analytics tracking and you may need to delete the previously set cookies from your browser (instructions below) to fully remove any identifiers.
Browser Controls: Most web browsers give you the ability to manage cookies through the browser settings. You can usually:
View cookies: See what cookies are stored on your browser and their contents (though often it’s coded numbers).
Delete cookies: Remove some or all cookies. You might do this to clear out old data or trackers.
Block cookies: Set rules to block cookies from certain sites or all sites. Be careful with blocking all cookies, as it can break functionality on many sites. Commonly, you might block third-party cookies (which many browsers allow in settings).
Do Not Track: Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” setting. Currently, our site does not specifically respond to DNT headers in terms of altering behavior (because we don’t do cross-site tracking anyway), but it’s a good practice to enable it if you wish – some services might respect it.
The method to manage cookies differs by browser. Here are quick pointers for popular ones:
Google Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data. Here you can clear cookies or set preferences (e.g., block third-party cookies, or block/allow cookies for specific sites).
Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data. You can manage and delete cookies, and under “Browser Privacy” choose Standard/Strict/Custom tracking protection which controls cookies.
Safari (Mac/iOS): Preferences > Privacy. You’ll see options to block all cookies (not recommended generally), and you can manage website data (to remove cookies). On iOS, Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security.
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Site Permissions > Cookies and site data. Similar options to clear or block cookies.
Internet Explorer (if anyone still uses): Internet Options > Privacy – you can set a slider for cookie handling and use Advanced settings for custom rules.
For mobile browsers, settings are usually found in the app’s settings menu under Privacy or Site settings.
Opt-Out of Google Analytics: If you’d rather not be tracked by Google Analytics on any site, Google provides a browser add-on that opts you out: the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can install this for your browser, and it prevents Google Analytics script from running. This is a global opt-out for that tool.
Consequences of Disabling Cookies: If you disable or block cookies, especially the essential ones, our website may not function correctly for you. For example, if you block our session/authentication cookies, you won’t be able to log into the platform or stay logged in. If you block functional cookies, some preferences might not be remembered (you might have to set them each time). Blocking analytics or third-party cookies should not affect core functionality, but it might slightly degrade our ability to tailor content or know how the site is performing. We fully respect if you choose to block these; just know that our improvements might rely on somewhat less data.
Cookie Banner Reappearance: If you have set preferences, we typically won’t nag you with the banner each visit. However, certain conditions might make it reappear, such as:
You clear your browser cookies (which would erase the record of your consent choice).
A significant time has passed (we might show it again after, say, a year to reconfirm).
We add new cookies or make a big change in our usage (we’d then likely prompt users to review choices again).
Visiting from a different device or browser (preferences aren’t shared across devices).
If you ever want to see the banner again to change your selection, you can usually do so by clearing the cookie that stored your consent or using the site’s cookie settings link if provided.
5. Third-Party Websites and Cookies
Our website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by EverWellAI (for example, a link to an article or a client’s site). This Cookie Policy does not apply to those external sites. When you click a link to another site, that site’s own privacy and cookie policies will govern your experience there. We have no control over what cookies those external sites use. We recommend you review the cookie notices of any site you visit if you have concerns.
If we embed external content (like videos, maps, social media feeds), as mentioned, those come with their own cookies. We try to use privacy-enhanced modes or no-cookie options where available (e.g., YouTube’s nocookie domain for embedded videos). However, interacting with that content (like playing a video) may set cookies from the third-party. You can often avoid third-party cookies by not interacting with that embedded content if you choose.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will let you know about changes by updating the “last updated” date at the bottom of this page. In the case of significant changes (for instance, if we started using a whole new category of cookies), we may provide a more prominent notice or seek consent for the new cookies as required.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically. If you have any questions or feedback about our use of cookies, don’t hesitate to contact us.
7. Contact Information (Cookies)
For any questions or concerns about this Cookie Policy or our practices with cookies and similar technologies, you can contact us at privacy@everwellai.co.uk. You can also reach out via the contact methods listed in our Privacy Policy (Section 16).
We will be happy to explain more about how our cookies work or assist you in managing your preferences if needed.
Your cookie choices are captured via our banner and the Cookie settings link. Continued use of the site does not equal consent for non-essential cookies. You can change or withdraw consent at any time. We appreciate your time in reading this policy, and we hope it helps you feel confident in controlling your online privacy while using EverWellAI’s site.
